Still / Alive

The world is shaped by what we choose to notice.

STILL / ALIVE is built on the belief that beauty is not rare. It exists in the textures of everyday life, in changing seasons, in thoughtful design, in handmade objects, and in the living landscapes that surround us. Attention allows these moments to become part of how we experience the world.

Bringing together sculpture, floristry, and immersive installation, the exhibition creates environments that invite presence and discovery. Artists, designers, and florists contribute distinct perspectives that unfold through material, form, scent, light, and scale, creating experiences that linger long after the visit.

At its heart, STILL / ALIVE is a celebration of care. Care for materials. Care for craftsmanship. Care for nature. Care for one another. It offers a place where contemporary culture and the natural world meet through shared experience, reminding us that beauty has the power to enrich our daily lives and strengthen our connection to place.

Toronto Flower Market x 9TH Editions

STILL/ALIVE began as a conversation about what a city needs more of: beauty, nature, and places that invite people to pause. Natasa Hansen and Ash Mulvihill share a belief that creativity has the power to bring people together and deepen our relationship with the world around us. Drawing on backgrounds in contemporary art, design, placemaking, and community building, they created STILL/ALIVE as a platform where sculpture and floristry exist in conversation, fostering collaboration across creative disciplines and offering moments of wonder within the rhythm of everyday urban life.
